About this course
German A1 is the beginner level in learning the German language. It covers the basics of the language and includes topics such as introducing oneself, asking for personal information, describing everyday activities, and asking for directions.It is a 4 Weeks Intensive Course.You can understand and use basic sentences in everyday life. You can introduce yourself and others, e.g. where you live, what you do and can answer such questions. You can communicate with others in a simple way when they speak slowly and clearly and are willing to help.
About the Beginner Intensive Course German A1.1
German A1 is the foundational level for learning the German language, designed to introduce you to the basics of communication. This *4-week intensive course* is structured following the *German Goethe Institute format*, ensuring that you gain the skills necessary to pass the Goethe A1 exam if you diligently follow the study program.
The course covers essential topics such as:
- Introducing yourself and others.
- Asking for and providing personal information.
- Describing daily activities and routines.
- Navigating common situations, like asking for directions.
By the end of the course, you will:
- Be able to understand and use basic sentences in everyday situations.
- Confidently introduce yourself and share details about where you live, your profession, and more.
- Engage in simple conversations, provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
Important Note:
This course, together with A1.2 (next module), equips you with practical language skills and exam-oriented preparation, setting you up for success in both real-life communication and the A1 Goethe exam.
